Mapletree’s Student Castle receives Best Private Housing (United Kingdom and Ireland) Award at Global Student Living Awards 2024

- Mapletree Investments (“Mapletree” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce that its Student Castle has received the Best Private Housing (United Kingdom and Ireland) Award at the 2024 Global Student Living Awards on 17 October 2024 in London, UK.

The prestigious Global Student Living Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in student housing and are based fully on direct feedback and votes by more than 100,000 students around the world.

This is the first time Student Castle has won the Best Private Housing (United Kingdom and Ireland) Award. At the same event, Student Castle was also shortlisted as a finalist for five other awards: Best Environmental Management, Best Customer Service, Best Student Broadband, Best Booking Experience and Best Individual Property (Student Castle Cambridge).

In 2023, the platform won the Global Student Living Awards’ Best Value for Money Award as well as attained the distinguished Global Student Living’s Platinum certification which demonstrated Student Castle’s commitment to operational excellence.

The resilient student housing sector has been one of Mapletree’s core focus areas as it is aligned with the Group’s overall investment strategy to generate consistently attractive returns through diversification and scale. The Group’s overall student housing portfolio stands at over 33,000 beds spanning 47 cities in the UK, the United States, Germany and Canada. Student Castle Oxford offers beautifully designed and cosy studio rooms alongside access to various amenities including a 24/7 gym, multiple meeting rooms and a games area.


The large common area with games console, pool table and a television at Student Castle Edinburgh serves as the perfect hub for social events.
